The Pope: Where Is He Now?
Please don't get me wrong.
I mean absolutely no disrespect.
For either the catholics around the world or the pope himself.

I'm sure he was a great man, I'm sure of it.
I'm also sure of the fact that he accomplished great things in his time.

I grew up with him as the catholic leader.
As a Christian, I pray that he knew Christ.
That he is sitting in God's lap right now.
I pray that his Faith and love for God was in/for the correct God and that he has met our Maker on Good terms.
I would pray that for anybody, whether Christian, catholic, etc etc etc.

I raise this question, "Where is he now?" because of the response from his followers at this time, as the pope dies and is being "buried".
The ceremonies, the comments from "experts" on televisions, in newspapers and in the crowds.

I've read the popes comments about his Faith, his beliefs and his ideas.
Many were not in sync with God, His Word (the Bible) and the Christian Faith.

But the pope did spread the Good News.
He did bring love to the world.
He did unite.
Those who respected him for his works were well vested.
Those who respected him for his Faith were well advised.
Those who shared his religion may have been misled by him, the religion and their misunderstanding.
I'm not going to get into all the differences between the catholic religion and the Christian Faith.
Y'all know where to find that.

Here I ask, "Where is he now?"
They are calling him their "Holy Father".
They are saying he is now "...with God..."
That he was an example of love (good), peace (again, good) and religious tolerance.
I'm waiting for somebody to show me where God told us to tolerate religions that teach hate for Him/Jesus.

So folks, don't get me wrong.
I have a great respect for the pope.
He was a great man, a uniter and a lover of man.

But I ask again, "Where is he now?"
Did he love man to hell?
Was he a great uniter of man against the true God?

I'd like to hear what you think.
Keep it respectful and intelligent.
Where do you think he is, and why do you believe that?

Send me your emails
(My Email) and I will post them here if they warrant it.
Ok.
I waited for a few days, gathering up your emails.
I got tons of emails from you folks, most were very thoughtful
Thank you for that.

One stood out above the rest for one reason:

It did a GREAT job of illustrating the Good News, that we are saved by Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone.
It showed that we are saved not by works and that are salvation is eternal and that just as we cannot earn it, we cannot earn it's loss.

But just as everybody else did, this email missed the main point:

The pope did not believe the Bible as it reads.
He preached, taught and believed the doctrines and laws of the catholic religion.
His beliefs, while close to Christianity, were not as your emails stated.

He believed that God was not perfect.
He believed that we had to add our works to God's works on the Cross to receive our salvation.
He also believed that we had to work to keep our salvation.
Again, that God was not perfect and that man could undo His Grace with our own deeds.
That we clould gain and lose then gain and lose again, God's Grace/Salvation through our imperfect works.

I appreciate all your emails, but they missed the point.

The pope claimed to believe in Jesus Christ.

But was the Christ that the pope claimed, the same God of this universe, of the Bible?

Since he claimed to know Him but taught, proclaimed and practiced a slightly different message/God than that of the Bible, of the Christian Faith, do you think the pope met The Maker and came upon a Matthew 7:21 experience?

I pray it is not so.
I pray for all our our catholic brothers.
For ALL of our brothers and sisters, catholic, mormon, protestant, penticostal; any religion that adds to or takes away from the Word of God.
That adds to or takes away from HisGrace/Salvation.
Pray that one day, they know the truth.
That in spite of their religions teachings, they know the One True Living Loving God/Jesus Christ.

Here's part of that email (Thanks "M"):

"… the 1611 Authorize King James Version of the Holy Bible states that:

M'r:16:16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Lu:7:50: And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. Joh:10:9: I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Ac:2:21: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Ac:4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Ac:15:11: But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. Ac:16:30: And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Ac:16:31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Ro:5:9: Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Ro:5:10: For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Ro:10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Ro:10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Eph:2:5: Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Eph:2:8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God… Tm:1:9: Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began… Ti:3:5: Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost… Jude:1:5: I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. Me… Flippin’ awesome!!!

In conclusion… M'r:16:16: sums it up… “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”

Basically… if the Pope believed in Jesus, the one and only Christ, and was baptized by the Holy Spirit, then he was saved. That is what we need to know. This Pope was very awesome… however; if he wasn’t saved… we know where he’ll end up..."
