If I go to a bar, get plastered, have sex outside of marriage and shoot some drugs while I'm at it, there is no way on God's green Earth that you can tell me that any of that can be done in Faith. In your other replies, even you admitted that the Bible reads that anything that is not done in Faith is sin. Doing all that worldly junk, is not profitable, nor is it done in Faith. How would you "interpret" that, Sir? Do you believe that going to bars, having sex outside of marriage, listening to music that talks about vulgar acts and perversion, and doing drugs can be done in Faith and is therefore not worldly, but Spiritual? | Ok, the Jesus (which you think is a different Jesus from somebody's) who I preach taught us that He died for all of our sins. "It is fiinished." But did Jesus then tell us it was ok to go out and continue to live in that sin for which He died? To deny Him and repeat that of which we've repented? To actually accuse Him of that sin (I was born this way...etc)? He told us just the opposite. When He forgave that prostitute, what did He tell her, Sir? He said, "Go out and sin no more." Wait, that is the English translation, it is probably inaccurate, right? What does He say to her in Greek/Hebrew/Aramaic,Sir? And yet you go on... |

| You know, Sir. Two things you've repeated throughout all of this is, "You Guys" and "The Jesus You Preach". I'm going to take out of this two things, Sir. Well, more than that, but these are the polite things. 1) "You Guys" must mean that you do not include yourself amoung us, who worship the Creator/Jesus/God of John 1:1. 2) " The Jesus You Preach" must mean those of us who speak English and read/preach the Jesus of the English Bible, translated from the Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic. It must also mean that you do not preach the same Creator/Jesus/God of John 1:1. |
