One of my older rants, but still relevant.
The Bible is the Word of God.
The Bible is God inspired, God breathed.

Romans 8:38 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

So when you read in the Bible that nothing can seperate you from God, do you argue with it?

Revelation 3:5 " I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels."

Do you deny the words of Christ Himself?

Ephesians 2:8 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast."

If you cannot do anything to earn your salvation, what makes you think you can undo God's work?
Some people actually think they need to "maintain" their salvation.
Like they need to do something to remain in God's graces.
That's a pretty ballzy thought!
I mean, think about that.
God, the All Powerful, gives you a Gift of His Grace.
But you, mere man, can undo what He's done.
You think you are more powerful and wiser than He?

Oh yeah, I forgot, y'all wanna argue free will.
We'll discuss that one later.
But to remind you what you used your free will for, you were free to make the choice between salvation and damnation.
You used your free will to accept Christ's will.

Jerimiah 10:23 "I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own;
    it is not for man to direct his steps."
Psalms 17:5 "My steps have held to your paths;
    my feet have not slipped."
Proverbs 16:9 " In his heart a man plans his course,
    but the LORD determines his steps"
Proverbs 20:24 "A man's steps are directed by the Lord"

Once you've used your free will and chosen to accept the Lord's will, you cannot "will" yourself out of God's grace. Your will is now God's. God's will is yours.
He directs your steps.
Would He direct you out of His perfect grace/salvation/eternal life?

Deuteronomy 31:8
"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you"

Hebrews 13:3 "God has said, "Never will I leave you;
    never will I forsake you.""

Well, there ya have it.
God Himself has said that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
You think you can leave Him?

If after reading the Word of God, the Bible, you can still believe that your salvation is not perfect, that the gift of grace from God was not perfect, that there is something you can do to add to the works of the Lord, then maybe the God you worship is not perfect?
God's Word, because He is, is perfect and absolute.
Have Faith in God.
You have the Eternal Life that He gave you, Eternal Life with Him.
Rest in the peace and security in God.
In His Gift, in His Salvation.

You are saved.
You have Eternal Salvation.
Praise Jesus for that!

"Christianity has nothing to do with religion. It is a faith. There are no laws, there are no conditions to our salvation. Look up Ephesians 2:8, it reads that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, and not by works, lest any man should boast. This is eternal life. The word before life, is integral. Eternal, not temporal. We are told He will never forsake us, nor blot our names from The Book of Life. Eternal means forever."
